It's probably overheating. My wife's does that. She has to have a special fan to set it on. You might be able to stop that by taking the hose of a vacuum and suck out anything from the grill on the bottom of the laptop.

ok but when i had it on the talbe my grandmother had something to say now i got it in my case but it is still on a chair but how do you clean it at the bottom and when i got it was on the shulf and it was beening used ppl was playing on it he just toke it off of the shulf this is not a newone i got it from staples so what do you think i should do take it back are just deal with it

Often times stuff gets sucked in there. If you can't get it out yoursel or with a vacume, take it to a computer store, and have the computer helper put a little hook in the grill and pull out any debris that has gotten sucked in there.

Is your battery good? If not, Vladilyich1 may have answered your question. I took my computer to the computer store, and had him clean out the an. He stuck a little hook in and pulled out a lump of dog hair that was blocking my fan. It worked ine whe I had an exterior an plate underneath, but when he got rid of the dog hair it worked even without the fan plate!

The fan plates are amazing. That dog hair was everywhere. You probably picked it up before September.

well if it aint the battery then is it an old laptop ? maybe thats the problem.. but thats the problem with computers and laptops they shut down on you sometimes but if it happens frequently then obviously theres a problem
