Where do your baby sleep?  

My son slept in the same room with us before about 2 or 3 years old,but in his own bed,so we can look after him during the night.

i have a son who is two years of age and his pictures appears as my avatar. my wife ( i am married for 5 years ) had a lot of miscarriages before we hit the jackpot. so for us he is our precious one (well i know all children are but our situation was really heart breaking.) from the day he was born up to this day he sleeps inside our room. in his crib but sometimes beside us. soon we will be buying him his own bed but still he will be sleeping with us in our room. i work at nights so my wife would rather sleep woth our baby close by

I love using a co-sleeper that attaches to side of my bed for the first 6-9 months and then child sleeps in my bed with a safety bar on the side. When they turn two they move to a toddler bed in their own room and at age four into a twin size bed.

well my four year old slept in the same room with us until he was about three, and my 3 month old is still sleeping with us but when he and his brother get there new bedroom furniture then i will start letting him sleep in their room. i let my brother come stay with us and i let him have my sons room because it was only supposed to be temporary but since it looks like it is going to be longer then i am going to make him start sleeping on the couch so my kids can get their room back.

I have a 16 week old son. he sleeps with me on the bed. I like to have him close to me when we sleep because I can access him easily in the night when I want to breastfeed him or if he needs a nappy change in the night. My husband is not here as I am staying at my parents place for some time so that I can have someone to help me and my mom can always be around to advice me. I wonder if having the baby sleep with me on the same bed as my husband would be such a good idea as he is a very sound sleeper and he does move a lot in his sleep. I guess I'll get a small bed for the baby so that I can put that bed right next ti our bed on my side and have easy access to my son.
As far as baby sleeping in another room. I don't think that is a good idea. I believe the kid can sleep in a separate room when the kid starts to go to school. That being the first time he stays away from home and from parents outside home seems to be the perfect time to introduce him to sleeping alone. Of course if the kid is scared by the idea it would be better to accompany him while he sleep there and then once he has slept you can return back to your bedroom and sleep with your husband/wife. And with time he would lose the fear and will start sleeping alone without much problems.
