I Have Hit 500 And Still Have More Questions

congratulations on making the 500. Now you can cut and past to your discussion. I love this option for when I am writing a long post I can write it on word and then copy and past it to myLot. That way I can use my spell check and grammar check. Notifications when they are on you are suppose to get notified when a friend starts a discussion. I was not getting notified until I changed my email address in myLot and low and behold here they are my box is full. You might think about changing your email address here on myLot if you have another email box. Now both parties do not have to have their notification on. Try the email address and see if that works. Hi Opal, I am just puzzled as you are with cut/paste and I don't kinow how to have a picture above my name but I think when you have a friend on your list and the nortfi is "on" you will receive their discussions but if they don't have notifi is "on" on their friends list then you won't recieve any of their discussions in your e-mail box. I think I'm right in thinking that. Tamara

Hey Opal. I would congratulate you on your 500th post but this is one of your "older" discussions and you are already over 1,300 posts here on myLot! Wow, you must be posting like crazy to get your numbers up so quickly. Good for you! Congrats on having over 1,300! I don't really understand the notification on thing. I thought I would get an email for every one of my friends' (whom I'd placed on "notification on")discussions, but that doesn't happen. I think there's some sort of random system with that. Because I was just responding to the emails I get for my friends' discussions. Then, I figured out one day when I was browsing myLot that I was missing out on some of my friends' discussions.

I know I am way late on this discussion, but figured that I would respond anyway. I would think that you have the answer to your question by now and that's a good thing cause I don't know the answer to that question.

yes you've come a long way baby, as they used to say back when. I had to look a while to find one i havent responded to maybe the notify thing has been my problem also.

Hi opal i know it is quite an old discussion but i reached 1000 mark couple of days ago and when i had reached 500 mark i was quite happy that now i can copy and paste in to my replies but i got a question.. do we get some benefit once we reach 1000 mark like we got to paste once we are 500?
