I pay all my bills online. I do online banking as well. If your bank is a reputable one, I'm sure they will take steps to ensure that their online system is safe and secure for their users. In our country, there are certain requirements for banks when they provide online services. So with the strict guidelines, I need not worry about security. For instance, when I log onto my bank account online, there will be another password I need to key in which is sent to my handphone or a device provided by the bank, as a second layer of security. This password is valid for the next 5 minutes only. In this way, it prevents fraud.

I pay all alot of my bills online I have never had any problems. I pay my credit cards my gas bill and my cable bill all online. I don't have much money in my checking account to worry about someone stealing my idenity they wouldn't get far with what I have.

we usually go to the bank and sign a direct debit form or something like that or sometimes the company that we need to pay will provide this form and we can sign it in front of them. I mean the bank website may be secure but who knows if our computer is not protected the way it supposed to be or we have been hacked without us knowing how? I have been a victim of ID theft that nobody seems to know how to solve it so if you asked me then no I don't pay bills online and won't bother doing so until what happened to me is solved.

You can also go directly to the site and use their pay service. some of these charge a fee so you might be better off mailing in your payment. I also worry about security and how safe it is to use these services. It pays to have good protection on your computer. Oh yes their are also bill paying sites that you can use.
