When you go out and people realize that your little one is in a cloth diaper how do they react and do you feel like you have to explain yourself?? Do they make you feel bad or do they treat you weird when they see that your little one is in cloth??
I have had people treat me weird and I almost feel like I have the plague. If my hubby is with me he makes me feel better , he says stuff like, "Oh a lot of movie stars use cloth, Now adays this is something that people who are better off use." and then he gives them a LOOK. Like they are the bad ones for not using cloth. I cant do that when I am by myself though.
I started using cloth because my little one is allergic to something in the disposable diapers and had a continuous diaper rash with them, raw and burning rash. I had too switch him so that he would get better and he did within a few days of switching to cloth.

As this all I have used in 40 years of babysitting and from an environmental viewpoint,I love the fact that I have saved money on using only cloth and find I can toilet train the youngsters much easier and faster than with disposables.
As a shop owner,I also reward those that use the plastic pants over both cloth diapers and cloth training pants.
In my case,as a locksmith,I give a free key cut or 5 to 10% discount off service charges.
Please don't feel bad,it is far better to use cloth than disposables, and more people are beginning to understand this.
Brightest Blessings to you.

It wasn't a problem with our kids - Terry toweling nappies were the only thing available and amazingly enough, our children survived to tell the tale! haha
Now we have a very good laundry service where the home is issued with a drum that can be sealed and that takes the dirty nappies. Once a week the drum is collected and a new issue of clean cloth diapers is left with an empty drum.
I think it is a bit more expensive than disposable nappies but much better for the environment and waste disposal.
