Checked Amazon and the fourth set of DVDs for my favourite sitcom is now available to buy. Looking forward to receiving that parcel as it's been over two month since the last release. I don't have the channel that screens it anymore and I am making a little collection as these should be great for a girlie night in, even in years to come What's your favourite sitcom, comedy or TV show? Do you buy the DVDs collections?

Friends is one of my favourites too, I still watch the re-runs on TV! I do not have the collection but I also watch them online if I need them. Two and a Half Men is hilarious, have watched it a few times, the jokes between the brothers and the kid are great!

I'm incredibly addicted to Robot Chicken and Metalocalypse even though i don't have cable. It blows b/c i can't see any of the new episodes until they go to dvd. Honestly these two shows have ruined regular tv for me. I used to love the Simpsons but now they just aren't as funny. I have a warped sense of humor and it's nice that [adult-swim] is catering to that. I actually got to see Dethklok live when they came to Hoouston on July 4th. It was f**king BRUTAL! I've even considered getting a Metalocalypse "tramp stamp". hehe.

Do I really need to choose. I can't. I love Grey's anatomy, I loved Charmed (I'm so unhappy there aren't coming any more seasons). I love to watch House MD, and I can go on and on. And yes, I do buy the DVD collections, 'cause it's easier to watch it that way. I can have days of only watching one serie and than don't look at it for months. Have a nice day

I do have my share of DVD collection in the house. I love to be able to watch whenever I want. And don't get me started about movies. I have movies on DVD all through the house. I have to collect them in one place and decide which ones I'm going to keep and which I'm going to sell. I have too much, and a lot I don't even watch. have a nice day

Yeah, I love Grey's Anatomy too and I've watched the up to date episodes online. I've never really been into Charmed as it's quite scary, House I've never really caught onto but apparently it's good. You must have a lot of DVD collections then..

My fav sitcom is a tie between law and order and general hospital. LMAO. i am a soap star 4-sure. I actually bought the fisrt season of the night shift on amazon. only for like 21 bucks it was a great deal. I would like to get all of law and order if they even sell it. i dont have cable right now so i dont know about any new tv shows. what was the one you bought?.

I haven't watched General Hospital; Law & Order I like but it is screened quite late here so will rarely catch it. I have Freeview so I get a few more channels but not all the ones I'd want.. I used to have cable but thought I'd put the money to better use I have 3 seasons of 'Girlfriends' and I am buying the fourth season, that's the one in the picture

As far as current shows, mine is Pushing Daisies. I was really into that last year and I hated that it became a victim of the writer's strike and ended after like 7 episodes. But, it's coming back on October 1st. For the other part of the question, no, I rarely buy DVDs, except sometimes of really old shows I haven't seen in ages. But the new ones are going to be on TV in reruns for years so I don't spend the money.

I enjoyed Pushing Daisies, real quirky one.. had no idea about the writer's strike, thought the season had ended

The only tv show that I have on dvd is Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I keep mentioning Grey's Anatomy to my husband, but I don't think he's taking me seriously!

I have currently bought the first 4 seasons of MISSION IMPOSSIBLE, first 2 seasons of SUPERNATURAL and the 1st season of HEROES. Second season for HEROES will be out this month, so I am anxious to get it. Currently missing season 8 of X-FILES.

Now 'Supernatural' is quite intriguing and can see why people would like it. I have watched a bit of Heroes and the X-Files too but I am not really into that kind of drama, yeah I love my comedy and I do not like to watch things that make me think too hard.. I haven't come across Mission Impossible, is that like the movie or completely different theme?
