how long do you consider long enough before moving in?

I dont think there is a right time, if it feels right then do it, but only if you both are ready. If your not ready and she is then tell her so, she will understand, and if she doesnt then she is not ready for a relationship. I moved in with my boyfriend about 5 months after knowning him and we have been together for over a year now, so i think as long as you both feel its right have no regrets and do it. i great waking up to the one you love everyday.

Um, two days (sheepish look) I started staying with my fiance two days after we started dating. I know that must sound bad on so many levels, and trust me I felt bad, his mom woke him up one morning and she goes "What is she doing here" and "what are you doing" lol, it wasn't nearly as bad as it sounds but what would you think if your gf's parent(s) came in the room and saw you there? I moved in with him officially on Nov 10th, but had been staying there since like mid October. Needless to say, I felt a little sheepish!

Five or six months!!! That is not long enough in my opinion. I think that is part of
the problem with todays society. People get into commitments without knowing each
other.

I think a couple need to know each other and date for at least a couple years before
moving in together. To get to really know each other. Then there would be a lot less
break ups and a lot less violence.
