New UCLA Study (funny)...

United States
November 4, 2006 11:26am CST
A study conducted by UCLA's Department of Psychiatry has revealed that the kind of face a woman finds attractive on a man can differ dependent on where she is on her menstrual cycle. For example, if she is ovulating, she is attracted to men with rugged and masculine features. However, if she is menstruating, or menopausal, she tends to be more attracted to a man with a spear lodged in his chest and tape over his mouth while he is on fire. No further studies are expected.

Haha! I saw the first sentence & I was about to say that study doesn't ring true for me. Now that I've read the whole post, though....

That's horibbly funny! Where did you come up with that. I always find "Manly Men" as I call it....the rugged and masculine features on a man always attractive, especially if they have the perfect man attitude that respects and appreciates a woman. I also like the goodlooking hunk of a handsome man, not so rugged looking but suave and well groomed. Never experienced ever being attracted to the spear lodged in a chest & tape over the mouth kind of man though....lol :)

After the results, I can understand why no further studies are expected. Thanks for putting a smile on my face today. :)

Being a biologist and geneticist i cant comment on the specific findings however it is expected and well known that during intense hormonal transitions behavioural changes are expected under a wide spectrum of activities:DD
