Are salt water fish hard to take care of??

We are wanting to get a huge fish tank and we have seen a lot of fish and most of the ones we like are salt water. So how hard are they to take care of?? is there anything special we have to do with the tank , besides use salt water, like clean it a lot or something. I do not want too much work. I already have kids and a house to take care of.

I've never had one, but it's my understanding that there is a lot more equipment required and it's more expensive, and the fish are too. I don't think it's the same as having a small 20 gal fresh water tank.
I'd suggest investing in a good book or two (you could check at your local library), and of course there would be unlimited online resources available to you.
They are beautiful and it was a dream of mine at one time too. Good luck...
