Are you a coach for a sports team?

I have never been a coach for a team,but when me and my fiance have kids I think it would be awesome if I could coach a football team or a baseball team,and I do not really have any good suggestions other then,always be fair,never show favortism when it comes to your players,and always keep high spirits and whether your team wins or loses always congratulate them on their efforts and maybe even take them out for ice cream.
