Langsat is the english word for Lanzones... LOL

i have been trying to increase my knowledge of the names of Philippine local fruits and i would like to share to you that Langsat is the english equivalent for lanzones... i just learned today... hehehe... anything you care to share?

So lanzones is langsat. It sure taste a lot better in our native tongue than the english one. I'm sure I'll receive another 'Dad your a genius' remark from my kids, when they bring home their fruity-fruity assignments. I always like the way they say it, but little they know I'm just very resourceful. Thanks for sharing Shiloh.)

Lanzones - Langsat - Langsat is the english word for the philippines lanzones.
In case your reader is wondering what a lanzones or langsat.

"lansones" in Filipino, is "lanzones"in English language.In Thailand, it was "longkok" or duku, and in Malaysia, it was "langsak duku" As of now there is no preference english term for the sweet fruit.Its lansones or lanzones.
