Soap Operas

I retired and have found myself watching the one thing I said I would never watch on TV, you guessed it SOAP OPERAS. The amazing thing is I have gotten hooked on the characters in two particular shows, The Young and The Restless, and General Hospital. I love Jack in the young and the restless. I was not pleased when they killed off Victors new wife or Adams friend. How many of you out there have gotten hooked on these? What's your favorite?

I have watched The Young and The Restless for several years as I started watching it with my grandmother. I like it but that is one of the only ones that I watch. However, I feel that there is such a diverse array of characters on the show.
Another person on here, said something about Daniel Romalotti in the 80's and how he got her to watch the show. I remember that he was my biggest crush at that time. I had every poster and photo that Tiger Beat and Teen Beat magazine ever had. I was in love!!
I like most of the characters on there and I think that some of the older characters are the best - catherine Chancelor, Jack Abbott, etc. Nikki and Victor are a big part of the show too.
The writers have a great way of spicing up the stories on this soap and I am thankful of that.

Jack Abbott is my favorite, however I am getting sick of Sharon's double standards. I am actually getting tired of the Nikki-Victor saga it looks like it will really be getting interesting. I am sorry that they killed of Sabrina however she brought out a good side in Victor.

I use to say that myself when my mom use to watch them I would say when I grow up I wont watch soap operas now I watch Young and the Restless everyday and I try my best not to miss any of it.You have a great night.
