Young, youthful looking skin is essential to looking your best. People spend large amounts of time and money in the effort to make their skin look younger. Having beautiful skin is one of the best ways to feel confident in your appearance. You can improve your skin by applying topical solutions, such as moisturizers and sunscreens. Skin can also be improved from within, by eating right and drinking plenty of water.

I have always drank plenty of water and eat healthily but I also never use soap on my face and use a moisturiser daily and also use an exfoliating cloth when washing and will moisturise whole body after bathing. I have been blessed with good skin anyway and also always apply sunscreen whenever I go out whether it is sunny or not as I have very pale skin also. Ellie :D

Drink lots of water, eat fresh organic veges and fruit, (have salads instead of cooked food).
I use a cleanser/ toner and moisturiser that is very natural with lots of vitamins in it, I agree with the people that use home made products though - that is great.
Sometimes I use a natural face scrub and face mask (mud pack).
I usually use an organic foundation that has a bit of sunscreen in it and only lipstick sometimes. A lot of times I don't even wear make up and I am middle aged, but I tend to wear the foundation more now that I am older than I used to!
Also wear hats when in the sun - of course if you can avoid the sun, that is better, but otherwise wear a hat and sunscreen.
I think you can also use coconut oil and hempseed oil as a rich moisturiser.

I apply a good lotion everyday. Just like my grandfather and grandmother and mother do. They looked well younger than their years. My grandfather has passed but he was 86 and didn't look a day over 55 to 60. My grandmother is the same and mother. Many people think my mother is my sister, lol. They know me and when meeting my mother say I didn't know you had a big sister. I laugh and say I don't that's my mother. Once I was even told I wasn't telling the truth and to stop kidding with them, lol.
Just get a good lotion that soaks in and don't leave you greasy.

I am lucky to have a younger looking skin I got from my mom. It is in our genes. So what I did to maintain it are daily exercise, eating right food and in portion, drinking enough water and avoid activities that damages skin.

If you can insist wash your face with cold water, I believe it will help. The cold winter wind can make your face dry and coarse, which is the main reason do harm to your face. Cold water can make you adapt to the cold and dry wind and keep your face fair. While the warm water will make your face dryer in winter.
