Understanding God's Goodness

Hi mariogon, God is good...ALL the time, even in our darkest moments. It's easy to praise God and give Him glory when things are going well, but when things are bad, it is not so easy. The Bible tells us that God works all things for good to those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. Nothing can happen to us (believers) that God will not allow something good to result from it. We have to have patience and desire God's will for our lives. His will is not always the easy way, but the best way, the way that will strengthen us and make us more like His Son, Jesus. God will never leave us or forsake us. He is always there no matter what and He is always faithful! God is in control of all things! God bless you and welcome to MyLot!

I think my LIFE is the best gift of all from GOD, and money can never buy it or replace it. Times might be hard for most people, but I think if they could learn to let go of some of their gadgets and possesions and live close to where they work the problems would not be that bad. I guess it is all the way you perceive it to be. I don't worry about things out of my control, and I appeciate the beauty of nature, it's free. #:)

Can't say God has done always good to me, or maybe I shall say I've not always felt great with what God has done to me. But being a theist, I've learned to accept God as he is, not feeling shocked when God hasn't lived upto my expectations or hasn't answered my prayers. Thanks and welcome to mylot.

The goodness of God has never failed on me and I believe for everyone else as well. All we just have to do is to look at the bright side of our life. Sometimes we are beset with problems and yes be become blind to see God's goodness afterall. We never realize that trials in life has a good purpose. As Romans 8:28 "... that allthings work together for good to those who love God and are the called according to his purpose." Indeed it is very hard to look at the goodness of God during difficult and trying times of life. As for me I just trust God's word always. I know that all trials are meant to make me come out as gold. And in order for me to see God's goodness I always see to it that I count my blessing every day of my life. God has been very good to me.I know I tend to be adamant and obstinate when things do not go my way.This is the discontent of man.When trials come our way we ask God why me? But if and when you win the lottery, will you ask God why? Often we fail to acknowledge God's supremacy in our lives.We fail to recognize His best-laid plans for us because of impatience.When we want something we want it right away. Sometimes, I am like this and when I get to meditate, I beg for forgiveness. When I see the people around me far more troubled, I thank God for blessing me.I have food on the table. I have a shelter. I am healthy.I can see,talk,hear,smell,touch,walk. Others in my midst cannot and do not enjoy what I have.For these I thank the Lord.

Actually for the past one year i am crying and crying for the things that are happening to me. But none of the days i have cursed got or have said that God is so mean. I strongly believe that God will have some other opening for me. God will never leave us. I trust him. Whatever happens is for good only.

Do any of us deserve what Father God has given us? What have I done in comparison to what He has done for me? I have not the time nor the ability to repay Him for what He has done for me. No matter the hard times, tragedies, suffering, and trials I still make it out of them. I have everything I need, sure there are things I want, He has made away for every need of mine to be taken care of. Where others are swimming in a lake of debt I have none except my mortgage. For my mortgage I do not have to worry about being able to pay it like some. Sure I would like to have a new car but I still have a car that does run, and it is mine. I have a family, a career, and a house what could anyone else want.

hell0 mari0g0n,welc0me t0 myl0t! i d0 understand h0w y0u feel,c0z i've been there.[lol] s0metimes we tend t0 ask or questi0n God for whatever unf0rtunate things that happen t0 us just maybe because we are in pain and 0ur mind's in turm0il s0 we can't think clearly.we all make mistakes,we are made like that..but the g0odthing is that,at the end 0f the day..we came t0 realize 0ur mistakes,learned fr0m it and make it right..that's the m0st imp0rtant thing.we are all aware that we sh0uld be c0ntended with what we have but then,it was really hard t0 d0..especially when y0u see your family and l0ve0nes struggling s0 hard and suffering..we tend t0 ask f0r m0re..we can't help it,still,we sh0uld try n0t t0.let's n0t l0ok f0r s0mething we d0n't have,let us try hard t0 be p0sitive and streghten the brighter side 0f 0ur life.having a heathy b0dy and a family t0 share 0ur life with is en0ugh reas0n f0r Us t0 feel Him ar0und at all times.we sh0uld always thank Him f0r his greatest gift t0 Us..0ur "life". life is beautiful,if we just kn0w h0w t0 live.G0dbless t0 every0ne!
