Drug addiction is a wide spreading problem among families. The psychological effect and physical dependence caused by the addiction sometimes go beyond control that everyone in the family is affected by it. If you have a member of the family who is a drug addict, how would you go about dealing with this problem? Do you involve all family members or would you keep it to both parents only? What if the parent is the drug addict , how would you, as a child, deal with this?

Critical situation you have raised. I would definitely try to take up such issues one to one basis, I would have talked with the person addicted, and try to win his/her confidence. I have believe in myself - I could have drifted him/her other way within few days; I've done so already with few people (none in my family though), and some of them have already well settled in their lives.

A good observation. Talking with the person can be done at first . Before more drastic measures would be implemented.
