Well....Carrie Underwoods done it. She has sang the saddest song I've ever heard! Maybe some of you already know what I'm talking about...maybe some of you have no idea! But check it out...

It's Just A Dream by Carrie Underwood.
Everytime I hear this song I get sick to my stomach. I've never been in this situation, but can you imagine? My heart breaks! Who agrees that this is the saddest song ever?

i agree very sad song and i love the lyrics.i dont compete this song but alson sad song "Chasing Pavements" by Adele watch the video.

Chasing Pavements O.o It doesn't sound like it's going to be a very happy song! I think it sounds like a car accident scenerio!

I didn't watch the video or listen to the song but I did read the lyrics. After reading it I knew there would be no way Id be able to handle either the song or the video ... I am sure that there are more than a few wives and girlfriends out there that have lost their loved one like this.

Yeah the lyrics are defeniatly sad, and really impactful! It is quite a song...whenever I hear it I get sad and sick to my stomach! I just feel so bad for all the famalies that had to go through this! I wish I could help them!

I have to agree. I started to cry as I watched the video. I felt my heart breaking. I've never been in that situation, but it felt like it was me she was singing about. I haven't cried like this in a long time.

Yeah that video is really impactful with the song. Do you know that isn't even the official video to the song? That's a video a youtube user made! They are really talented. Really brought the song to life!

That is a very sad song!! Carrie Underwood has the voice to deliver the message too... I cannot even begin to imagine trying to go on with my life after something like that.
Alanis Morissette's song "Simple Together" is still the saddest song i've ever heard, though. If you have ever been broken up with.. then you will relate to this song. If you just came out of a relationship, I DONT recommend listening to it.. unless you want to cry and cry! Here is the link!

Yeah I don't even want to think about what life would be like to lose someone like that! It's just...too sad! And the saddest thing is, this IS happening to people. I know we don't think about it, or we just don't realize it when we hear songs like this. But that song is based on real events! I feel so sorry for the people that go through that! I wish I could help them in some way.
I listened to that song and it is sad. It's a good song too. But Just A Dream is just sadder for me because I haven't ever been in a situation that Simple Together is talking about. I haven't ever had a boyfriend die in the war either--but a really nice guy I liked went to fight. To my knowledge he hasn't been killed, but it's still sad to say goodbye!
