Yeah that video is really impactful with the song. Do you know that isn't even the official video to the song? That's a video a youtube user made! They are really talented. Really brought the song to life!

Yeah I don't even want to think about what life would be like to lose someone like that! It's just...too sad! And the saddest thing is, this IS happening to people. I know we don't think about it, or we just don't realize it when we hear songs like this. But that song is based on real events! I feel so sorry for the people that go through that! I wish I could help them in some way.

I listened to that song and it is sad. It's a good song too. But Just A Dream is just sadder for me because I haven't ever been in a situation that Simple Together is talking about. I haven't ever had a boyfriend die in the war either--but a really nice guy I liked went to fight. To my knowledge he hasn't been killed, but it's still sad to say goodbye!

lol yes it is really sad! And personally, no shame in a guy that can cry! I'm sure a lot of girls will agree with me lol.
We need sad songs! Sometimes we just need to have a good cry! lol. (At least I do! :P) That's also why I watch sad movies! lol. Come on...didn't you ever see Old Yellar or Where the Red Fern Grows?! Those defeniatly make you cry! :D

Umm...I don't know if I'm right or not...but...bad news. I don't think his dying is actually the part that she is dreaming about x.x I think he was actually killed...and the part with the wedding, and the aprt where people tell her "he is coming home now" is the dream x.x

I just found the official, real video of the song and omg! Even sadder!!! :( And in it he really does die...so that's not good. i was kind of hoping the real video would prove my above statement wrong! No such luck x.x

Well guys do cry but dont admit and not in the open. if guys dont i think they are made of pure stone hearted person . well i cried in soo many movies. i even cried in armageedoon and titanic also . It's just too bad to think that people have to go through that! You just think about how many people have lost a family member in the war, on duty (cops/firemen) and it's sad. This movie doesn't make me think only of soldiers, even though that's really what it's about. It makes me think of all our heroes. And unfortuantly families are being devasted every day because someone they love is killed in the line of duty

i know yaar.. about this whole families thing very nicly becasueeven myfather is in the navy so whenever ther eis a war or anything like that. i know what goes in my moms eyes and my heart !! so i really can understand what you are trying to say. !!

Ooo I didn't know you had a family member in the military! You must be proud :) I hope that he remains safe and healthy!! (Navy is my favorite branch...they have the best uniforms ) lol.

Ohh hell i am interested in it. i have been through this life since a child , i have been brought up in a naval base. i am soo damm interested . But to get in the navy , you need to give a exam an dneed to pass them and all. i could pass the wriiten exams , it was kind of very tuff !! i sure did wanted to join it .! i gave the exam like 4 times in 2 years :( . still couldnt

Oh I see. I didn't know that! What kind of things are on the written exams? I bet they're tough! I'm not sure I could pass them. I love to write, but I'm sure they are way different then what I like to write! lol.

Well there are genreally 3 parts in the exams. 1 was Genreal knowledge , you know about current events and all stuff about your country and all. 2. Pure english . i did these both very well and then came the 3rd most dif part. MATHS !!! man i think out of 120 ques. i could do only 50 i guess. i mean they give 120 ques and 2 hours only for that !! how can you do it in just that much time !! i couldnt :( lol

OH MATH! I hate math lol. I think that would be the one to get me too! I hate even thinking about doing math! lol.

I don't even want to imagine how many people have to go through this! I feel so sorry for them! :( And I never want to know exactly how they feel...it might kill me! I can't imagine losing someone you love in any way!

Yeah the lyrics are defeniatly sad, and really impactful! It is quite a song...whenever I hear it I get sad and sick to my stomach! I just feel so bad for all the famalies that had to go through this! I wish I could help them!
