who do you care about most? ego or others?

Is there anyone you care more about than yourself? your couple? your parents? children? i guess for people who have children, children are NO.1. ; while for me, i have to admit i care about myself the most, though i do love my parents very very much. say, eat some delicacy, i buy them mainly for myself to taste first, sometimes put my parents first. Try various ways to please, reward and entertain myself. Am i selfish? YES.

Hello to you gabbana!
I am still single and I am in a lovely relationship. At this time, I can say that I care about my parents, my younger sister and my boyfriend. Do I care for them more than I do care about myself. Well, yeah, in a way. It is important for us to care for ourselves to be able to care for others. Caring for yourself and no one else is what I consider selfish. Though you care more about yourself and perhaps you do have valid reasons for that, it doesn't mean that you are selfish. I am sure that somehow you do think of their welfare too.

I think I tow a fine line between my ego and the feelings of other, I know I must not hurt my own ego in life, lest I stop living, in the same vein, I must not affect the feeings of life in my daily conduct and relationships!

Me and my fiance do not have kids yet,and I would say I care about my fiance and my parents more than I do myself,and I always try to put them first and worry about them rather than me,because I do not think it is right to put myself first,even though I have to admit sometimes I do,even though I think everyone puts themselves first from time to time.

hi, hellcowboy. it's good to learn that you care about so many people and they must love you deeply. or i have always assumed that westerners don't care about their parents when they are independent, i was wrong by this. All the books and teachers told us such nonsense.
