Do You Send Out Thank You Cards For the Gifts You Recieve?

Hi. Yes, I send out thank you notes when I recieve gifts. I think it is important to thank somone when they have taken the time to get you a gift. I specifically print thank you notes to my small grandchildren. That way they can read the them themselves. I think it is more meaningful for them that way. It also sets an example for them. As well, it makes them feel loved and important to be getting their own mail. People who put out no effort to choosing gifts, I just give them a phone call to thank them. P.S. I have a letter that I wrote to my grandmother when I was about eight. It is very old. The postage on it is a five cent stamp.

Not to family members, but I try to remember to do it with others. When my students give me little gifts I always send them thank you notes in the mail, not only to serve as a good example, but also so that they can get some mail. They think that's really cool!
