du u keep your monitor very near to you?

i sit at the maximum distance from wheer i can see the letters on the computer, it defenitely reduces the strain of the montior to that extent

i'd like to keep my monitor far but the problem is, my keyboard is near my monitor so i dont have a choice..

i also stay away from my monitor as much as possible and instead of leaning towards my lcd to read the small text i just make the fonts bigger that way i dont need to get close to the lcd just to read.
