What movie made you a Cusack fan?

Hi fellow Cusackians! :D What movie of John made you a fan of his? Why? I became a fan of Johnny after watching 1408. To see someone for an entire movie is really something, especially on close ups. But that's not really my first reason. His acting is really believable and intense in that movie, especially when he "fights" the refrigerator (I want my drink!!!) and when his daughter in the movie died for the second time. It's my first time to admire an actor not because of looks but because of acting prowess. I first noticed John in "Con Air" but saw more of his acting in "Runaway Jury". I haven't yet seen 1408 but I hope to get a hold of a DVD of it one of these days.

Hi! Thanks for the response! Con Air is good movie. After watching 1408, I was searching our VHS tapes and found Con Air. I watched it even though I'm not a fan of action movies and found myself very satisfied with it. Runaway Jury too was okay, but I'd love to watch it again to understand it more. (In our country, there's no jury system. So I had to understand it here more especially that Nick Easter twisted it ) I do recommend 1408 as the movie features him about 99%, showcasing his acting.
