Oh so it wasnt yet official? I really knew that Yao Ming is the one who will light the torch for China. We have Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao to light the torch for our country but I would definitely not miss an event where a panda will light a torch for a country.^_^

Yeah, it's not officially announced yet, just to add mysterious flavor to the opening ceremony. Different consumptions around the world and spread via Internet. Luckily we don't have to wait too long, it's tonight

I think the persons you mentioned are the possible one who will hold the Chinese national flag. I am not sure who will light up the flame of Olympics. But I think it'll be a big surprise. Let's see:) I love China
