Zits On My Face...

I used to think that only teen-agers or younger would have pimples. Much to my dismay this morning, I saw several on my face. Hey, I'm older. I'm not supposed to have this but it right there on the center of my chin and with another one on the left side of my nose. Is there such a thing as pimple for older women? Do you have pimples? What triggers it? Does it make your life miserable?

My pimples shows up everytime I eat oily or fatty foods for the whole week, like fried chicken, fries, Porkchops, or Pata Tim. I also consider having a stressful week on my work and lack of sleep due to deadlines could cause pimples. I also experience one time when we had gardening jobs for a couple of days where I do sweat a lot, my face becomes red and itchy because of the sweat coming out may also causes pimples.

Those might be some of the reasons too. I remembered that several years ago, I was put on a diet by my doctor because of the condition of my face. I had to forego some of my favorite dishes. I've allergies, too, so I guess to avoid further break-outs some foods were off-limits. Thanks.

its no problem, it happens to everyone. just make sure that you are doing the exfoliation stuff and maybe using a scrub every now and then just to make sure you cover your bases. im sure if you look online you can find something for those nasty zits to go away. anyway good luck to you.

Thanks. I might just go to the dermatologist this weekend. Not only that I have pimples but some areas are becoming reddish. My skin has always been sensitive. It's been so long since I had a check-up and maybe it's high time for me to pay the doctor a visit.

I don't know if theres such a thing as pimples for older women but I symphathize with you, I get them all the time too. I'm in my late 30's, and I get them on my chin or my forehead or on the side of my nose, I hate it. My husband's always teasing me and saying oh, your hitting puberty..lol. I have oily skin so I think thats why I'm prone to get them still, but I wash my face constantly, and use cleansers and everything, but I still get them. It doesn't make my life miserable but I wished I wouldn't get them.

We're on the same boat. It makes us feel that we're teen-agers again when adults would comfort us and tell us that we'll outgrow it. They said it's due to hormonal changes and will be ok after several years. It's been nearly two decades and I still have it. Guess, I'll just have to deal with it. Thanks.

Hi diutay,
Oh dear! zits, you'r getting younger, have you being eating chocolates of cheese because that can cause zits or you are just run down and not knowing it. Rest up.
