harden your skin and find a way to get even. or at least your money back for sure. read the book: how to work for an idiot. I am sure there is lots of good tips for you. it is a good reads for people that have to work for... well an idiot. It has survival tactics in them and ways how to handle a less then friendly boss. just dont remember who wrote it unfortunately. hang in there, get your money back and get the hell out of there. that is my best advice.

Thaaanku......u understood my situation well....I have left that job.....I tried to convince GM ,HR manager with lot of appreciation letters given to me by the company..but they didn't listen to me since my manager was working there for last 35 years and he was also the deputy GM of that company . Even writing details ..will upset all reading it .....so very brief only ....they ate all my money...returning just 10 percent of my 3 months salary and other official claims ..... Inspite of their constant denial I managed to get releaving letter .....writing to GM about whole story ....GM directed them to clear his dues ,and give him releaving letter ....I didnt met GM..he being ever busy.... And I didn't turn back.....they even called me for other openings I never heard them...again Surprisingly.....this company is second largest software company in India of TATA group....after Infosys...which is no 1 Indian software company. Atlast I left everything to the biggest power of this Universe thats GOD whom I believe the most ....to do justice. Definelty I will get this book asap....name is enough ....to get books in India ......!!! Thanks a lot .....all the best ....I will always remember you ........ Thanku Ganesh

Hi Ganesh44, In our country they will never get away with it, we work together the boss and the staff as a team, they got their own jobs and we have ours and if we go off sick the company have to pay us, also we are entitled to our leaves, the boss cannot stop us, if we have to work late, we get overtime money. The law is set for the worker and it stands no boss is aloud to abusive and bully them as they will be sacked and the workers will not take that sort of tretment from any bosses. Most of the time bosses and team aways gets on together in a friendley manner and enjoy the working place together. Tamara

Thats great......u r lucky man u did born in UK.....In India its not the same......here IT companies are called sweet shops.....although at the time of joining they do 100 promises to employees but at the end of the day...they start exploiting there employees may be other think differently....but reason behind this is population of 150 crore aided by unemployment....companies know they have many gud people in queue so they r very hard and harsh....getting work done ....instead of being professional.....not bothered much about employees welfare....few multinational companies (origin outside India) r good but they r very few. All the best .... Ganesh

Oohh its really a painful experience atleast you acted smart told your director and she was doomed ....I know its tough to continue probably thats y u had left...the job too...in my case complaining to director didnt help because my boss was Deputy GM also and he was working with the company for last 35 years ...so he lost his human behaviour ....and I was victimized for that.....it caused a great pain to me and my family.... Anyways ...there is always a good time after bad one so we should not loose heart and hope and keep moving ...... Thanku Ganesh
