What happens to Martha?

I didn't see Home and Away when I was in Samoa but I did see it when I was in Australia and I have heard that people in New Zealand see it. When I went to Palm Beach I saw it being filmed. I have got a photo of me sitting next to Alf.

Yup NZers definitely watch Home and Away.

The actors are told to look as if the weather is warm and even when it is a cool day they have to wear summer like clothes. One girl was in a bikini and she said she was cold. She was told that she was to get on with it and look as if she was enjoying herself. One guy had to eat a banana and the scene kept going wrong so it had to be done over and over again. Palm Beach with the lighthouse on the hill and the national park behind it is a lovely location however it must be hard work to be an actor on Home and Away. Oh, I am longing to know what happens to Martha.

Palm Beach is lovely - I used to live quite close to there and have been there many times. It used to be very quiet because it's quite a long way out from town, but it's expensive to live there now! You would have seen some of the mansions on the beach. When I was a kid there were wild koalas out there. I doubt there's any now.

Yes, I saw many expensive and desirable looking homes in Palm Beach. I was staying in the backpackers hostel in Avalon, another lovely area. It is a shame that wild koalas are more difficult to spot these days. The only place that I have seen them was on Magnetic Island.

Avalon is very pretty and has a great swimming beach. Did you know that they filmed Baywatch there when it came to Australia? Fortunately there are a lot of koalas in Tasmania, and there are still areas on the mainland where they are abundant. I forgot to tell you, the girl who plays Martha is going to be on our next season of Dancing With The Stars which starts just after Easter. Keep an eye out.

No, I didn't know that Bay watch was filmed in Avalon. The manager from the hostel was incredibly kind. He gave me a lift in his boat over to the national park. I am glad that there are still many wild koalas in Australia. I haven't been to Tasmania yet. I will look out at Easter time for the girl that plays Martha in her performance. Thanks.
