| | | | | | 1.  redchase (322) | 1 year ago |  i figure since you are roommates, it'll come because you live together, but maybe you guys could spend some time together when you cook dinner and try to just talk there. how much older is she though? i figure there can be a good amount of things for you guys to do. have some girls nights in and do all the girly sleep over stuff that friends do and just get a chance to catch up. and if that doesnt seem like something she'd like then just talk to her and tell her that you want some substance in your relationship. i've been thinking you were a girl for all of this but if you arent, then i think maybe taking her out to lunch or something every once in a while might help u, but i still think you might need to talk about it. just find some common ground with her and see where it takes you.

Maybe make some effort to try to get involved in her interests and show her that you can be fun to be with. Make her feel that she can trust you! You know it will be better for both of you to have a good relationship. One thing I am happy about with my relationship with my sister is that we are not just sister's, we are also good friends that can count on each other.

Then invite her. If you had fun together, you can do it at least once every month. The would be a great start...Since she is also older, try seeking her advice on diffrent matters. Knowing that you trust her and you're iniating an adult conversation with her, she might consider making an effort on her side to get close to you as well.
I have 2 younger sisters. Im 30, and they are 16 and 14 but we are so so close. they would tell me secrets and we enjoy doing stuff together.
