so you can print out your free admission ticket (this is a must)
and you can also browse by state to see what museums are participating.
This is a very cool day for the entire family.

Hello kimbers867.
I just checked out this weblink regarding Museum Day. But I don't think any FL museums had the special "free" marking beside them. But still, it's great that you let people know that they might be able to get free admission to a museum in their area.
This discussion reminds me that I've still NEVER been to Washington, D.C. or the Smithsonian there. I swear, one of these days I'm gonna get there...

I went back to the site and saw that a lot of the sites from Maryland are listed but not free. Bummer!
I haven't been to DC and the Smithsonian since 1987. You should really plan a trip! You don't have to stay in DC, you can stay in either VA or MD. There is the metro train that can take you right into the DC and then a lot of the museums are in walking distance.
Best time to go would be in the spring or in the fall!

That is very interesting and I will definitely mark Museum Day on mine and my fiances calender and I will definitely see about checking that site out when I get the chance ,and I agree it sounds like printing off a free admission ticket is a must because everyone likes free stuff,and I think it would be something that me and my fiance and my parents could enjoy together.
