Do you eat donuts for breakfast? If so, what kind, and what do you eat it with?

I used to but know that I eat wheat free it is something in the past. It used to be a daily practice to stop at the donut shop on the way to work for a donut and a cup of coffee.

I did have whole wheat donuts one time that were not bad at all. I have made them with my gluten free flour and the turned out ok but not as good as a remember the donut shop ones tasting.

Ah, and it's a habit that's not that easy to break! I wish that someone would come out with truly healthy donuts that still taste like regular donuts. I know. Dream on! LOL!

Bread and egg are probably a healthier choice for breakfast. But, sometimes I really crave a big chocolate donut. lol Really, I do know better, and I am glad that you are eating healthy.

Eggs aren't exactly healthy, due to the cholesterol. The only time I eat a donut or something sweet is at a hotel when they serve "continental breakfast". Do you know why it's called that? Because in some parts of Europe ("the continent"), particularly France, breakfast is just a croissant or muffin or something with orange juice or coffee. Hotels I think like to promote "continental breakfast" because is sounds like a big deal, but it really isn't. But anyway in France they don't eat big bacon and egg breakfasts like we do, they just have a sweet thing and a drink. So don't feel bad if you do that too!

I've heard that donuts are now found to be healthy because it is a good form of cholesterol, not the bad form. Still, it might not be a good idea to eat eggs all the time. I have never been a big fan of continental breakfasts. To me, it's mostly just a big, fancy term for cereal, muffins, and orange juice.

Well, if we have donuts left in our fridge I can eat them for breakfast. Most of the time we eat bread or biscuits and drink coffee.

Same here. It pretty much depends on what is in the fridge at the time. But, regardless, I always have to have coffee, no matter what is available to eat.
