where would you submit an invention or an idea for a service?

i know we have all seen those cavemen chiseling the stone wheel and its suppose to be a company you can submit ideas to.. are they trust worthy? if its a service you came up with would it be better to go to companies that would be great to use the idea with?

I ran across a company call Davison and pitched an idea to them. They seem legit. I feel confident in working with them. Can't say I did a ton of research though, just contacted them on a whim one day.

well i don't really have a clue on where but if ever i have a cool invention, i'll give it on a trusted company but first, i'll look on the company's background first and see if they're trusted
