Hmmm that sounds fantastic, my techy has been hinting lately that I should upgrade and get a new computer which I would love much i have found everytime I get new or upgrade it usually takes me so long to get used to the new, I am not one that loves change much, well I guess we can expect some really good posts from you, new can be good.

Glad to have you back in here. I wondered why I had not seen any of your Posts for a while. I know what a pain it can be with Computers though as I have experienced them myself as well. Well, you might need to Write up a schedule of who gets the Computer when, and then go from there. I am Lucky. I am the one one who uses one in our house. My husband just does not get into Computers and being online much.

Great to see ya back online and myLotting. Missed ya as well. Grats on the new puter as well. I have always been a big lover of HP products. My outer and printer are HP brands. Anyhow I need a new outer as well. But it will have to wait for sometime. Mainly because we are getting an HDTV and surround sound in a few weeks so the funds will be short for a new oputer. Then the big holiday is around the corner as qell. Maybe next year. I take it you are running Vista as the OS? Do you like the change or what with Vista as opppsed to XP? Grats and we missed you as well.

Glad to have you back. I lost internet connection once due to some technical problems and I was about to go out of my mind not being able to get on my computer! Have fun catching up with all the discussions now and glad you like your new computer.

Congratulations on the new computer, etc. I am so happy for you! I have been praying for the funds so I can get a new computer, printers and software. Of course, mine will probably be more expensive than yours because it's a Mac but I'd rather spend the extra funds and have my Mac which is still the best around for what I do. I wouldn't mind having a PC as well to access web sites and certain things that aren't compatible with my Mac. That would mean I could sign up for work with some of the online legitimate work systems doing customer service work from home.

I need the computer, a color inkjet and a b/w laser as well as a scanner, fax machine and copier. I also need a new, larger surge supressor and a new laptop case on wheels. I'm planning to get a Macbook Pro with the 17" screen. I'm also going to need new software since the Mac I'm on is running a lower version of the operating software and my software most likely won't run with the new system. My biggest concern is getting something equivalent to Appleworks because I use it for drawing and the paint program constantly. I also have a lot of documents save in that format so until I can move them into new software format, I'll need the use of this computer.

I also want to get a new cell phone that allows me access to the internet wherever I am so I don't have to be dependent on other people having it in a restaurant or a business.

Anyway, I'm very happy for you and look forward to your postings once again.

Welcome back Katlady...sure did miss you around here. HP Pavilion wow....before I decided to get my Mac computer I was thinking in the lines of a HP Pavilion or Workstation so you got a really great new computer there....As for you're not being connected right away...isn't that always the way? That it was just a small matter of hooking up the right phone cable line. Almost sounds like the dumb goof I did one time when I wanted to scan some photos and nothing was happening ...I didn't have it in the right mode to scan....sheesh

Holy barnacles....Now I'm jealous...See what you did? Sounds like a great deal...I am hoping to get a new one soon...like before I die...Like before my grandkids are like 80 years old....LOL..Holy crap..If they are 80 I will be like 100 million years old....there won't be a need for computers.....The fact that I will be dead doesn't have anything to do with it either...
