who will have a better season brett farve or aaron rodgers?  

That's a difficult question to ask. As far as who, I think that Rodgers may have a slightly better season and would really get whatever criticism he gets would be wiped out. He's got an intense level of pressure and would have had it sooner or late based on being Favre's successor. Favre has to learn a whole new system and it's going to take some team chemistry to see what happens. The only way The Jets will make the playoffs will be if they get a Wild Card.

Aaron Rodgers. Who worked out all off season. He worked closely with his teammates all off season. He knows the playbook. In general, the Packers are not disfunctional.

Bret took the off season off to "find himself." he is playing on a new team where he doesn't have rhythm with his teammates. It's a new system. Plus, the Jets tend toward the disfunctional.

All in all, rodgers is in a better situation which makes for a better season. Provided he doesn't get hurt which is always a possibility. When it is time for that achilles to go, it's time for it to go. That's football.

They both are going to have a bit of a rough time. I think Aaron Rodgers could be a very good pro quarterback, but you have to realize that this is his first year of playing in the pros. And most quarterbacks have some problems their first year. And Brett Favre has a whole new system to learn and he has to get used to different receivers. I think Aaron may have a slightly better season because the Packers have a better team overall than the Jets.

Brett Favre. Why? He is Brett Favre. He is playing for The Jets. For him to have a good season, all he has to do is be over 500. While Rogers is replacing a living legend. A QB that most fans Still want as their QB. For Rogers to have a Good year, he has to go And win a Super Bowl.

This question is an interesting one. If you'e asking me who will put up the better numbers, I'm going with Brett Favre. There's a learning curve for him to overcome coming over from a WCO but the Jets offense isn't all that different than the style of WCO that GB ran last season. The terminology is different, obviously, but we run a lot of slants and quick routes like that to get the ball in the hands of our skill players so that they can make YAC. We also take the occasional shot over the top. Favre is a HOF quarterback who didn't just forget how to play the position over the offseason so he should have a pretty strong statistical year.

Rodgers might experience a few growing pains, but he's a bright young QB who has the skillset that might be better suited for that style of offense than Favre's. Rodgers should put up solid numbers. From a stiatistical standpoint, I think Rodgers has a better year than Favre. Record wise, GB might get the edge there. I've got a feeling that my Jets are in for a special year, but the AFC is a tough conference. We should have a shot at a wildcard, but we could also miss the playoffs. Green Bay should be able to get into the playoffs in a weaker conference and might have a shot at upsetting few teams. The Jets time to contend is likely to be next year while I think the Packers have a legit shot at winning their division. Favre the better statistical year, Rodgers to win more regular season games. If they both get to the playoffs though it should be interesting. Either team has the potential to sneak up on the league the way the Giants did last year.

I think Aaron Rodgers will have a better season because he has way better receivers to throw to. The Green Bay Packers receivers led the league in yards after the catch in 2007. Brett Favre on the other hand, probably will not do so good because he is going to face some really good defences in the AFC. Brett Favre does not have the best receivers to throw to either
