Where the car key? I just talked with somebody on the phone. We usually do that for thirty minutes but this morning, it's not possible. Why? He accidentally left the car keys inside the car after he locked it and it's raining heavily. Have you had the same experience before? What did you do? How did you open your car? Did you have to ask somebody to help you out? Do you keep a spare one with you?

Lol, that happened to me. I was at work and my boss called the police. They said that they don't open the car doors in their area anymore. If I would be across the street, another jurisdiction, those policemen would still do it. But, alas, I was out of luck with them. I had to call a mechanics/tow place. The guy came and charged me $40. The entire time he was nervous, because he thought the police may think he was breaking into the car, if they would come by, lol. In retrospect I think he may have been an illegal immigrant.
Anyhow, since then I kept a spare key inside the house and at work. If it wouldn't have been a 70 mile ride for my husband to come and open the car for me with his spare key, I would have called him at the time. Oh well. Live and learn!
Funny thing is, this was one of the cars that beep when you open the driver's door and the key is still in the ignition. I have no idea why on that occasion it did not work....

Hi diutay,
Yes that used to happen quite often to my husband so now I have a spare in my handbag and one spare in the house, since I had all those keys cut he haven't done it yet.
