China's Fake Face!!!

I think that this is the perfect title for such a news article. I took it straight from KNX News 1070. Apparently, the girl that they wanted to use to sing the opening song for the Olympics was not pretty enough. So they chose another girl to lip synch to her voice. This is sickening and outrageous. This reminds me of the British show, "Keeping Up Appearances."
It scares me to think how far they might be willing to go to look good. If I were the parent of either one of these girls, I would not want my daughter to have any part in this. I know that they will be paid well, but money is not everything. How do you feel about this mess?

China is obviously not the best place in this world for how they treat women and young babies if it's a girl. They're facing a shortage in girls for the boys that are old enough to marry and I say "Good for them!" because, they played with mother nature and lost. One doesn't kill their girls because they're girls and wanting a boy!! One doesn't kill their children for ANY reason! So to hear about China's perfection as far as beauty goes, it doesn't surprise me one bit.

Now this is the reason that I had very little respect for China before. But like I said earlier, this took away the little respect that I did have for them. This is the kind of thing that gives children issues that they are not able to properly cope with. So they grow up very angry and it will manifest itself in many different ways.

I can't believe they went to that extreme - that is terrible and no doubt the confidence of that little girl who has a great voice is going to be shot to hell. I mean being told your voice is ecellent but you don't look the part? c'mon that is just ridiculous. I think she looks beautiful in that picture.

This kind of thing can ruin both girls for the rest of their lives. One girl will be obsessed with her looks because she does not think that they are good enough and the other girl will be obsessed with maintaining her looks. I use to have a little respect for China, but that all ended with this.

Shame on China, they had a chance to shine in front of the whole world and what do they do, this. It is outrageous, did they really think it wouldn't be found out? I feel sorry for both girls. how dare they say one girl isn't pretty enough, little girls are beautiful.

I totally agree with you. It is only a very sick mind that can come up with something like that. As it is, i did not like all the censorship, and this issue with the little girls and the opening number. I completely boycotted the olympics last year. Didn't watch them, wasn't interested in following the scores... if I was an athlete, i would not go!! I would not particpate.
