Either i'm nuts, or there are gremlins in my house.

Where does one go to get rid of these pests? Are there exterminators who specialize in this? Or do you suppose they are on some endangered species list and we have a legal obligation to put up their shenanigans? i for one am sick of the high jinks.

Let me check around, quietly, for you. I think there might be a leprachaun union that can handle 'your little problem' If you know what I mean.

i heard they were in cahoots with those little guys that run around with Santa. i'm not sure if they can be trusted. Notorious for breaking and entry and all. Really, one of these years their gonna get fed up with whiny kids and leave them what they really deserve.

That's just it. i run a tight ship. Things do have a place and everything lives in its place, yet sometimes they disappear then reappear. Its like there is a hole in the space-time continuum, or something. Things blip away and reappear just were they should have been all along.

Vortex. Actually that would explain it. And your right, just when you replace the item, or manage without... it reappears. Like a sick joke. Do you think traveling vortexes have a sense of humor?

Oh I think these roving vortex's are managed by Locke the god of mischief. The gremlins are his lackeys.

A most plausible of explanation. i always kinda figured there must be a mastermind at work. To organized for just a rouge gremlin.

i think i saw something move in the corner, i thought it was just my over active imagination, but now that you mention it it may have been wearing glasses. Maybe the mouse batteries were just a diversion masked as benevolence. Have you checked your forehead? Frequently my gremlins place mine there.

They weren't on my forehead. They were under the computer screen disguised as sunburn cream. Huh. We've not seen the sun once today. I can't imagine why they would want suntan lotion.

Oh that one is easy- they eat it. Tastes really good to them on the last of the crackers from my pantry. i know it was them that ate the crackers because NO-ONE in my house would put the empty box back. i asked.

eyzee12...we do that all the time...tell him to knock it off and give whatever is was back...our imp is also a prankster...one time after vacuuming i unplugged the vacuum and moved it into the dining room....about 5 minutes later it turned on lol...i yelled at him to knock it off and off it went...my kids thought it was so funny....i was glad they were there...no one except my Dom/bf would have believed it...

dsraven... it doesn't matter really if you talk to them... as long as you respect each others existence... actually i do it all the time,..one time, i was so certain where i placed my necklace.. just as i was about to use it, i cant find it... so i went gaga looking for it.. i just let it passed and i spoke out loud saying, " c'mon, its my new necklace i haven't use it first, you can borrow it after... just give it back''... and there was my necklace buried inside my suitcase...

lol just yesterday our imp was acting up...when i get home from work i always put my glasses either in the case in my purse or on the microwave....we were in a hurry to get things done and i could not find my glasses for anything....i finally stood in the kitchen and said enough is enough give them back...leave the room come back and they are over in the corner of the kitchen by the bread which is never place i would put them way toooo close to the stove....

Never saw Spiderwick Chronicles...these days, unless the kids want to watch something, i am out of luck. The T.V. is usually occupied by some child playing a video game or watching cartoons. Thats o.k. with me, i've got too much to do to spend my time in front of the T.v. As for gremlins in my head, maybe!
