I'm sorry, I really hate arguing with Jesus because I am a Christian but killing a woman who is pregnant is not necessarily two counts of murder. It depends on many factors that differ from state to state.

I'm not *for* abortion but I am *for* women and their right to choose and for that choice to be a safe one. Too many women died before abortions were legal and wanting to end a pregnancy should not be a death sentence for a woman. Does that make sense?

This is something that has always puzzled and urked me! It doesn't make sense to me at all and I don't think it's right. If their going to make abortion legal up to a certain stage of the fetus, then it shouldn't be murder until the fetus is that stage too. Or then, abortion shouldn't be legal (that's my personal opinion)

Valid points. But unfortunately you have people who question what is considered a baby and when....But to me conception is the beginning of life...and like i said in a previous discussion you posted the fetus will only grow into a baby, not anything else.

I dont know I personally dont believe in abortion, unless if it was a life threatening situation. Like a tubal pregnancy or something like that. Or like with my sister inlaw that almost went blind. She had to have one they told her she would go blind if she had it. It was bad enough as it was, but emotionally she was never the same after that. Her and my brother got divorced due to the fact that she couldnt handle what she had done. Had it of been me. I would rather of taken my chances and maybe of gone blind. I have to say that would have been my choice. But I am just that type of a person.

If you murder a woman who is expecting you do not automatically get charged with two counts of murder. If the pregnancy is past the point of viability, then perhaps a person would be charged with two counts. Terminations occur before viability. It makes perfect sense.

I hate the idea of abortions and would never choose to have one myself. I think that many ladies that have had one regret their decisions but it is too late, no amount of money will bring back a dead baby. If a lady gets pregnant but does not want a baby she should adopt her baby to a loving family. Abortion is murder and yet is is acceptable in our society for some people. I respect other people's decisions though. I feel that hospitals are bad places if they do abortions. In one part ladies have babies in the maternity unit, in another part ladies have fertility treatment and abortions are carried out in different part. Murder and man slaughter are serious crimes yet abortion is thought to be a medical procedure. I wonder why anyone would choose to carry out abortions because they would have much guilt and no job satisfaction. If all in the medical profession refused to do abortions that would be great. Adoption should become easier to do because many children need loving homes.

To me it sure does. If you kill me and my unborn child , it is a double murder. But if I Choose to have an abortion, it is up to me, no one else.If you see it as murder then think of it as justifiable homicide because it is either me or the baby , you can't have both.I Never wanted to have a baby so the Only reason I would find myself pregnant is because I was raped.There is no guilt , period.
