Do you think he'll be able to maintain his rank as the number 1 in the world or will others such as Nadal, Djokovic, perhaps Roddick be able to top him? What are your thoughts about it?

for the record, federer express was dethroned already by king rafa after he reach the semi-finals in cincinatti. it is definite that king roger will be oustsed in the top spot when the new rankings will come out in four days time. nadal already accumulated enough points from previous tournaments and is very sure and confirmed that he will get the number one spot by the 18th of august, no doubt to that.! the only capable of getting the nerves of federer is rafa and djokovic but only rafe could statistically outshine federer. while roddick is far way behind in the standings, a pathetic 9th place over all, so definitely not him.

Well, Federer has been off form this season but he did have a bout of glandular fever, which can effect you for months. As far as anyone overtaking him goes I think Nadal is definitely the most likely. He's come so far on grass and is a very consistant player. His form seems to remain high whilst Djokovic and Roddick are on form, then off, then on again. I remember the first Wimbledon final Federere and Roddick played together and a consistent theme with Roddick is that he tends to crumble under the pressue of a big match. He has the ability but doesn't seem to be able to hold himself together in finals and semis. I think that's a shame as I really enjoy watching him play - he shows a lot of character.
