Which will you prefer when you use your computer, earphone or sound box?

When I am alone sitting before the PC, I will use sound box, I believe it will not hurt my ears and the sound effect is quite well. When there are some one else in the room, I will use earphone, I don't want to disturb others or be disturbed by others.
Which will you prefer, earphone or sound box?

I agree with you,listen the music through sound box is wonderful,especially bourdon,it's so good,but sound is so large that it may disturb others,so when there are peoples in the house i use earphone,don't use earphone,it will hurt our ear.
