All movies are rated as universal, parental guidance, adult content, PG 13, etc etc and a written warning is displayed before each movie played in TV and the theaters.
However TV serials including popular ones like comedies (FRIENDS, Seinfeld etc) and others have a lot of adult jokes, mature scenes, dirty talk etc etc etc and none of them display a warning or rating for the serials before they start. Is this peculiar to the cahnnels I watch - AXN, STar World, Zee Cafe etc or is it the same everywhere?
What do you think about this issue?
I've enclosed a pic of the suggested ratings.

Actually, here in the states we do have a rating system for the television shows as well. It shows in the corner of the screen right when the show is starting. I don't know what the rating is for the shows you mentioned, but it does have some sort of adult rating to it.
