Everybody likes nicknames and nicknames are so common. Have you ever noticed which is the most common vowel at the end of nicknames? I just feel that 'i' is more common. Just rewind a bit of all nicknames around you and tell.

Well, if it's vowel, I think i'd go with 'I' and 'E' It's usually Mikee or Mikie etc.

I would have to go with Y since all the nicknames I can think of end in Y. For instance: Joey; Billy; Willy; Tony; Woody; Buddy; Andy; Arty; Sandy and Sally.

Well, since 'sometimes "Y" is a vowel, I'd have to choose that. Adding a 'Y' is common, at least from what I've observed. Years ago on my neighborhood we all had at least once nickname and most of us, if not everybody, had a 'Y' placed at the end. It's weird. But I guess it's different wherever you go.
