favorite television shows

What makes a tealevision show your favorite? What do you look for in a show for you to keep on watching it day after day or week after week?
I would say that the television shows that I usually watch are the ones that make me laugh or think. I am not inclined into television shows that are on the drama genre. I just dont like having to watch a show that makes me feel so sad. I want the ones that me feel light. For the other kinds, I watch them every once in a while.
Here are some of the shows that I watch and why.
Dancing with the Stars - I like watching the dancers come up with different dance routines. Also, I like critisizing those who dont do well. Not a good dancer myself, I can easily pick the steps that they did not do well. LOL
Samantha Who - very funny. Someone who lost her memory and is trying to figure things about herself. Makes me laugh, so it's okay for me.
American Idol - who doesn't? I just like to criticize Simon! LOL
CSI - although gruesome, I like the way they are able to recreate the crime then solve it.
Ugly Betty - funny in some ways. A light show to watch.
And so many other shows that I watch when I flip through the channels.

Characters that I can like and a storyline I want to follow are the main things that make a t.v. show my favorite.This past season I said goodbye to one of my all time favorites, The Sopranos. It was a great crime drama. It had characters that I liked ans a storyline I wanted to follow.And On Showtime there was The Tudors, a soap opera based on English story.Here I know what is to happen but I like to see how they are going to film it.and then there is Miami Ink and L.a. Ink. With both of these, I love the tattoo artists and you never know what a client will want done.

i love reading books too....there are times when i feel like watching Tv and times when i just want to read books...so it really depends on what i feel at the moment

I watch the news everyday, especially local and national news to be updated on what's happening.
I also watch reality shows such as PBB and PDA, but since it's not PBB's season so I only watch PDA. I like PDA because I get to know some tips on how to improve the voice because I'm a choir member and I need it.

watching news is one of my past time as well...although if i am busy and not able to watch the news on tv, i just read all about them on the internet...

well my all time favorite television show has to be friends and full house. i still catch these shows when there re run is coming on tv. these days i am also watching the moment of truth. that show is also really nice.

i love watching my favorite television shows and it's one of my hobbies. i love alias but it's not that known now. i love watching the CSI's too. they're genius when doing their things. i also watch will & grace, it's my favorite comedy show.

I am not much good at sitting and just watching TV, I have it on while I am computing, or relaxing in bed but I guess it depends on the mood i am in, a good movie sometimes, but i must admit i do like some of the reality shows, like Big Brother, or The Biggest loser, things that one can hope their favourite person wins...
