Why is it the very look of Cockroach causes me an uneasy feeling..

ewww ..just the thought of cockroaches made me shiver..i hate them!! sssshhh..they might hear me and mess with my food .. i dont like them! The smell, the look and the feel...More so, when they come across my feet, i would really flinch! Worst is when one is flying around and lands on me, whatever part of my body, i would really shout and run as fast as I can while shoving them off..after that I would cry, because i am really scared of it.. i hate crawlers, and I would do anything to scare them away instead of them giving me a scare..!

Really! Do they survive that! Whatever they are and they do and however nice they are to me I would never stand the sight of these horrifying creatures! God save them from mimps! *laughs*

saivenkaat, I finally come to know that your phobia is scared of a tiny creature, cockroach. You are really observant and what you describe here about the peculiar behavior of the cockroach is exactly as what I have experienced before. Yeah, this nasty creature loves darkness and always comes out at night to search for food. Cockroach are blamed to be the most popular destroyer of cloth, paper and other household material as they are omnivorous creatures. I did hear the story about the cockroaches which could still survive after the explosion of an atomic bomb. posting and have a nice day.

If the cockroach doesn't fly, then it's OK for me and I won't be so scared. If I see it, I will ask my husband to finish it. I am not very scared of it, but I don't want to finish it by myself. It's somewhat disgusting. If the cockroach flies, then I will be so scared and will run away immediately. I love China

Hi there saivenkaat802003 I was once in Lebanon and I borrowed an iron and was lent one that hadn't been used for a while. Well I turned it on and about 8 cockroaches came scurrying out and yes I did shriek!!

hi saivenkaat, hehehe, why do the cockroaches run and hide when the light is turned on? because (y)our look sends uneasy feeling in them yes, i can understand it. for most of all, they certainly not look beautiful. i just think that they are also living being and we can make a 'friendship' with them. sometimes i find a cockroach being turned over, and i turn it over so they can run and continue their life. after doing that i feel ease. i can feel i am connected with the cockroach. well, maybe it's just my crazy feeling. but somehow, i don't consider it as disgusting anymore. another time, when i found a bee almost drowning, i took and put it on the land, so it can slowly flied and continued its life. in i feel the same. somehow i don't feel afraid with bee anymore. well, maybe i am just crazy
