I miss my cat  

She wouldn´t of handled the plane ride. I got her from a guy who got her from the animal shelter, so she was already kind of traumatized. It´s crazy how they tattoo them, declaw them, and chip them. enough that they spade them. it´s crazy.

My cat and dog came with us on a 4 hour plane trip when we moved. My vet just gave them both a tranquilizer. It's beyond my understanding that in your country they actually declaw cats. It's one of the cruelest and most painful things one can do to an animal. Fortunately in this country no veterinarian will perform that operation because it is illegal.

It's sad that the previous owner of your house left their dogs behind, too. I guess I can see why they may be so cuddly -- perhaps they fear that you may one day disappear from their lives as well! It is good of you to take them on. :)

In the states they declaw cats. In what country is it illegal? Yeah, I agree, maybe my dogs are so cuddly because the might fear being left again, after all they were left to fend for themselves for about a year. It´s sad how people can be so cruel. yes, they did have room to roam, and plenty to hunt, but it´s still a horrible thing to do to a domesticated animal that is dependent for food and shelter. And let me tell you, winter is no joke here, it gets cold! But considering the situation, I suppose a person can only do as much as their hearts and pockets allow them to.

Hey eztuner. my cat was the same way, but animals have a special way of knowing when you´re not feeling well cause they do come around in those times of sadness. I do communicate with the couple who we left her with. Different countries have different policies on animals and at this point in my life with everything we had to do before we left, I really couldn´t afford to take care of all I had to do. Pluse she was really skeptical of everything. I do miss her though, but now she´s in Georgia with a great couple with other cats and a yard, which I´m sure she´s loving. She was cute when she tried to hunt. lol!

Great! At least you know she is well, then, you did a Good job providing her with a loving family. Good for you! Try to get a young Kitten two or three months old, you'll see what a great experience it is. Good luck!
