Do you think the world is becoming more anti-intellectual?

It used to be that being a person of learning was considered a positive thing, now increasingly you are a geek/dork/nerd if you pursue intellectual pursuits. Some kids are afraid to do well at school for fear of being shut out by their peers!

Yes, especially in America. The government is completely anti-science, doctoring or hiding their own reports when the science goes against their policies or the beliefs of some of their fanatical supporters. And yes, certain minority groups sometimes have a stigma about learning.

I do not think there is any anti feeling towards intellectuals. From the ages, intellectuals never bothered to come into mainstay except delivering sermons. I feel there is a great mechanism in the lives of human being to get adjusted. So we have to appreciate whatever they are doing good, we have to admire for what they have achieved and accept what they are and the Life will go on like this.
