My mom just love antiques, stuffs like beds, cabinets, figurines, all sorts. Some are even older than me, aging for about more than 20 years. I told her to sell it, tons of times, but she just dont want to. How about you my fellow mylotters, do you love antiques or old stuffs and still keep them?

Oh yours are more recent than what my mom have. Some stuffs here ages more than 40 years. Passed on to family members. She just loves it. I know it will be handy if our family will be poor or what. But when you look at them, you'll get really scared especially with the cabinets with big mirrors.

this antiques will be price less in the future so i think that is why your mom doesn't want to sell it or it has a special memories that she can't let go that is why she keeps it..i do not want antiques..when i see antiques i remember the horror movie of angelica panganiban, rica peralejo and gretchen barreto? i can't remember the tittle but most of the haunted things that had happened to them were because of the antics that they have purchased or was given to them.

My mom's antiques are passed on. It came from my gradmother, my dad's mom. Their current bed, she got it from trash, it is to gbe thrown away by our neighbor, and she get it to have it fix. Oh, yeah, that is also my reason why I dont like them. Like in my bed, my mom keeps on telling me to use cabinets for my clothes. Our cabinets here are heavy, big and whats really scary is that they have huge mirrors on its doors. That is why the only furniture in my room is my bed and an electric fan. Although not hunted, imagine having it in your room and at the same time it is as old as your dad, my dad is about 43-45 years of age. So I removed it.
