I watched the star wars series several times. Is it only me?

I marveled at how good the director to be able to connect the prequel which is done several years after ( almost 20 yrs?) to the older version which follows the prequel. It is like rewinding a movie backwards. The latest one that was produced is the first story for the series. If you haven't watched it from the beginning, then you can't fully appreciate the story. Every little bit of the prequel was expertly interwoven with the sequel, that it was as if they were made simultaneously. The transformation of the sweet little Annakin to the dreaded Darth Vader was convincing. I don't approve of this though to be shown to very young children. It should be PG 18 and above. What are your thoughts on this?

I only watch the originals. I can't really take the newer ones. I don't think we needed to see so deep into the past of Darth Vader. It ruins the whole effect for me. I understand why it was done, but I don't think it was necessary. Sometimes people can just be evil and maybe this should have been one of those times where it should have just been kept that way.

I would if only I can get original copies. I am really amazed of how the story was re-traced to get to where Darth Vader was in the original movie. It wasn't 'forced'

Through the years I have watched the movies hundreds of times I am sure. I ruined my VHS tapes so I had to get the DVD's, both originals and the ones with the added scenes. Good for a sunday movie experience.
