Do you teach your kids to wash their undies? how old you start teaching them?

I feel bad with teen agers who don;t know how to wash their undies. I think kids should be taught how to wash their under wear at an early age like 10 and up? so that when they become older than that, they are responsible to keep their undies clean not just throw it away anywhere after using them.
what about you? are you teaching your kids to wash their underwear? or just do it for them? or maybe just don;t care if they just throw their undies anywhere?
Just curious to know....

Right now I wash all my kids clothes for them, but my oldest is only 5. They both know that their clothes have to go in the hamper, though - I won't tolerate them being scattered everywhere.
I know some people wash their undergarments separately, but here, clothes just get thrown together. So if my kids know how to wash any load of laundry, they'll know how to wash underwear. When they reach high school, that's when I'll probably expect them to be doing their own laundry. They'll know before then how to do it, but won't be expected to do it themselves consistently until then.
How can a person not know how to wash underwear? That's just crazy. Throw it in the washing machine. Add detergent. Push start. Not difficult.

yes that's right!! throwing in the machine is just easy but the dirt specially the ladies undies when they have their monthly period could be cleaned in the washing machine. My step daughter is already 16 but doesn't know how to clean her undies with blood stain. That is what I mean. If girls must be taught in an early age how to clean their undies the better.

It's unusual for me to have bloodstains because of the sanitary products I use, so that's not something I have to worry about. And even then, so long as I get it in the washing machine right away. If I can't get in the washer, you just soak it in the sink. How is that difficult to teach to a teenager?
