Do you schedule for a constant check-up or you just go to a dentist if needed?

I only go if needed. And I don't really trust my dentist. Like all other health professionals, they'd have you there all the time for the insurance, if they could. I go when I need to..they can get their insurance cashe elsewhere.

Hi,
I go every 6 months as a check-up and for them to clean my teeth. I'm 50 years young and the last few years the dentist has said I have some gingivitis and if I don't go that often then my teeth get to hurt so I have to anyway. I figure just go every 6 months and get it done.
Luckily my insurance pays for the cleaning and checkup every 6 months so I guess I can't think of a reason NOT to go, except that I really don't like it. lol
