world getting better or worse?

the world is defntly goin worse & its a doubt if it ll remain after 100 yrs...no1 cares abt the future as long as they live they r happy...y bother abt others thts in thr mind...

Well of course the world is going for the worst. I think people were better years ago. I am glad I am born in this generation I really get worried thinking about this world after 100 or even 50 years from now. I think people are just selfish and they just don't care about anything and just want the best for them selfs. They just throw their parents out of the house, I saw in news that somewhere the father is raping the daughter and so many things that I get shocked of hearing it. I don't know what this world will be after 100 years and I don't even want to see it. I get worried about my kids because they have to face this world in a much difficult time then me.

it would get worser that today... a lot of new diseases (curable and not curablea) would sprung out,, the average life span would be shortened.. the enviroment would be more polluted and the climates in every country in the world would keep changing due to the adverse effect of global warming... alot of small islands would sink, because of the rising sea level.. and many more.. i'm to pessemistic,, i just based my thoughts on what is being presented to us today.. but i hope that the world would be developed, the enviroment would be preserved for the next generation...

From the past century, mankind has really advanced alot in technology and also improved its lifestyle but on the other side has also ruined the atmosphere of this World with industrial pollution increasing every coming day, cutting down of forests etc., hence mankind has also ruined Ozone layer which protects us from Ultra-Violet rays of the sun. Resulting in many skin diseases which were not on this World before. Many animals are no more present on this World, hence, mankind has developed this World on worse side.

Hi. I checked out the Gobi Desert on wiki because I wondered why you included that particular picture. I seems the the desert is expanding at alarming rates. The weather is extreme in some areas, and mankind is to blame, once again; crimes of deforestation and overgrazing accompanied by global warming. Humans have been raping the planet to serve their own selfish needs. Yes, I agree with the possible decline beginning in the industrial revolution. When we discovered oil, we sealed the fate of our planet. None of the news is good, water shortages, extreme weather conditions and unusual acts of nature and several other factors plague our civilization. If there is a genius out in the world somewhere, or a group of people with fresh ideas to turn our planet around with quick results, I hope they show up soon. Humans everywhere will have to learn to live without many of the advancements we are accustomed to. I hope it's not too bad when everything hits the fan.

I hope it will be better in 100 years. Although we need to start to think about the environment. And I hope that it won't be too crowded :D HAve a good day..

I think that the world is getting worse everyday. People are to greedy they want want want. People have to starve in every corner of the world so that all our governments can eat like kings. It's sad and oneday the world will catch up to all of what is going on and everyone will suffer. It's sad that it has to be like this. Everyone should be able to live a normal productive life but that is not the case in todays society. If everyone was given equal opportunities there would be much less fighting and wars around the world. With the way the economy is going now there will be much more homeless and starving people looking for an easy way to survive, meaning much more crime and senseless killing. We can blame our government for that. It's all about money and power. Greed!!

if the people don't know what to do the world will be getting worst as what we've seen in some of the documentary films that is being done by the researchers.if the people only know what will they do,and uses their mind the world maybe will be getting ok but as of now many people think of their own selves only and they did'nt care for others that's why all of us is suffering in many ways like the calamities,wars and etc.it still depends on the people if they want to see the world peaceful after 100 years.

hi i dont think it is getting any better,on the contrary its getting worse and more worse.look at the pollution which is certainly not making life any easier,also the green house effect,the global warming,increase in terrorism all this is making life more and more difficult.

Compared to 100 years from now, I think it is much better. People had no cars, no computers, no mobile phones in the past. It is hard to travel a long jonery. On the other hand, the environment is much worse now. Global warming would be a big problem. Some science fiction film seem becoming realities including " the day after tomorrow." There are also many problems of environment protection in recent years. One of the secrious problems is the polution of air, water and soil. Maybe it is not that terrible. I worry more about wars. If war started, the earth would be destoryed. Lots of countries have nuclear weapons.Such a mistake would perhaps lead to disastrous consequences. Thus, sometimes, I prefer the past. A coin has two sides. None of the two sides is perfect. One side should draw the strong points of the other side to offset its own weakness. If it becomes true....

Its getting worst I think because lets count the global warning issue.

Who knows it will be better after 100 years... Now with only limited Technology all eager to jump on others, attack on others... My Worry is becuase of these wars the one who suffers is the Youth... i thik d world is gettin worse day by day

Well I still believe in the innate good in each of us so I think that the world would still be a better place. We just have to unite to make it that way because if we don't surely the world will be worst than ever and I hope that won't happen.

I feel it has gotten worse rapidly over the last twenty years, with tons of being cut down rain forests and the environment polluted, but I believe we are starting to change that. With hybrid and electric cars, we are starting to help not destroy the environment, and the technology coming out will only make the world better. I feel that in one hundred years, society and the Earth will be a better place to live.

Well, its getting worse but i think that things can be turned around for the better with the right leadership some say things will get worse before it gets better and i and i think thats true but as longs as there hope things can always change for the better.

hi friend Nature wise we are certainly getting worse with every passing seconds. Fay is just nature's fury showing us how much helpless before a natural disaster. Yet we don't make meaningful effort to reduce global warming. 100 years from now? oh ... hope nature takes care of the wounds we are creating on her and let us continue another 100 years.

in some insigth i get your point but you shouldnt blame new technologies or invention that kaming the world worse its the people who should be blame because this new technologies are made to make the life of the people easier and faster.... but people are using this in incorrect way thats why you can say that..... 100 years after? if people still doing the wrong thing yes the world would be a worse place in the universe hahahahahah
