What inspired you to get the tattoo/tattoos you have now

first of all sorry to hear about your losses. i have my tattoo also when my fiance passed away last December. i promised also to myself that i will have another tattoo, when someone that i really love will be taken away from me. this is the kind of art that will bind me to the ones that had already left this world.

My first tattoo of a rose and heart with my parents initals either side of my name was because I am the only child my parents had together. They were married before to other people and had my brother and sister. Then when I found out my nan was really ill and that she wasn't going to pull through, I got a little scroll done under it with "Millie" written in it for her. I showed her and she said it was like having her name up in lights but this was going to last forever. She said she liked the fact that by having the tattoo done, I was never going to forget her.

I am still in the process of desgining my first tattoo. I as well like it too mean something than just be there just for the sake of getting ink. I have been working quite close with the girl that will be doing my ink so it has been coming along. Mine will be a full back that I will be getting down. We are just working on the small details of it right now. And within the next month or two will be sitting down and getting it done. It will take a long time so will have several seatings to get it complete.

Well i have 14 tattoos and some have more meaning then others, but htere was a thought or reason behind each. 1. Frog on a lilypad...i love frogs and collect figureines and such, of them, so this was my first tattoo. 2. Wild at heart - ok no specific reason other than i am a pretty wild person and love to have fun 3. Yellow rose - my grandmas favorite flower 4. Grandma (under the rose at a later time when she passed) 5. Dreamcatcher - I am part Cherokee indian and believe in the meaning of dream catchers 6. My sons name (for obvious reasons)..lol 7. Little girl with pigtails and tongue sticking out (definitely portrays my personality) 8. The word BRAT...well because i am 9. A fallen angel tattoo its a heart with wings and halo, devil tale and horns...fallen angel has always been my nickname on the internet forever 10. Bumble bee with the words STING ME HONEY...my mom also has a bee tatt so i was doing it for her i guess. 11. Cherries - another thing i sort of collect 12. Waterfall - i just thought it looked cool 13. Shooting Star - i have always believed that wishes made on a shooting star will ALWAYS come true 14. Circl of stars with the initial of each Niece and Nephew (9) in total I like butterflies as well so that will be my next tattoo

My first tattoos are connected to how my life was back when I got them. And although they aren't the best tattoos in the world, they hold some amazing memories for me. My third tattoo I got on holiday in my favourite place, which is why I love it so much.
