traveling is something that my hubby & i enjoy. If i could just put all the joys of traveling experience/memories in a box then maybe I would've. BUt the least we can do is to take pictures, and get some souvenirs that will remind us of that precious moment. The least expensive memento i could think of is either a keychain or a fridge magnet and oh, also post cards. I usually collect fridge magnets. I also make a scrapbook out of all the pictures i took. How about you, what memento do you often get when you travel?

Having worked in gift stores, I know that often the tourist shops have merchandise that says "Florida" or "Texas" on it, but came from China. I prefer finding some craft shows with real homemade items. Other than that, I take pictures, buy postcards, and get an elephant or two for my collection.

oh yeah, it is made from china, lol. funny that its not made from the place itself. but thats the cheapest i can find, and im such stingy person, lol! aside from the postcards of course that i put on scrapbooks or send to family members ( just to let them know that they're on our thoughts during the travel)

I don't go away very often but when I do I seem to acquire pretty stones from wherever I go, especially if we visit the beach. I do not usually buy magnets as our fridge has a wooden door panel on it :(
when I was younger I used to collect keyrings, from my own holidays and from those others collected whilst abroad but, somewhere along the way I lost interest in them.
Photos are definitely the way to go though, no matter how good your memory is it's always nice to have that visual reminder.
