In my opinion, their best albums are those from the 80's: Piece of Mind, Powerslave, Seventh son and Number of the beast. Those are the best in my opinion, and I would add another one from the 90's: Fear of the dark. They have other good albums, others not so good, but these are the best for me.

The number of the beast is still a great album even if it's pre nicko mcbrain but in my opinion, regardless of who's on drums or 2nd guitar (or even third!), Maiden with Dickinson is the be(a)st!

| 10. raivenx17 (54) | 1 year ago |  80's for sure. The first 6 albums you listed are just amazing. I love pre-Dickinson just as much as post-Dickinson. I can't even pick a favorite among those 6 albums. Some songs hold a lot of meaning and bring me back to some fond memories of my school days and the friends I had back then. Also, who writes like that anymore? I mean, songs about war, the supernatural, poems and literature? It's just fantastic.
